Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989. Our original location was a tiny place on Western Avenue, but in the year 2000 we made the move to the historic Mann building in downtown Seattle. You can find us on the corner of 3rd and Union, across the street from Benaroya Hall and only a few blocks from Seattle landmarks such as Pike Place Market and The Washington State Convention Center.

The incredible architecture and masonry of the space create an extraordinary backdrop for the modern, yet traditional feel of the restaurant. Intimate booths, private dining rooms, casual lounge seating and a signature satay bar create a variety of dining options for our guests.

Whether you’re looking for an ideal group dining spot or somewhere to enjoy a quick power lunch, grab a cocktail with friends after work, or celebrate a milestone, Wild Ginger is the perfect choice.

When did you start with the company?
October 2013

What’s your favorite wine-related memory?
Visiting Napa and drinking a 1966 Robert Mondavi Cabernet with some other sommeliers at the Rudd Roundtable in 2016. Robert Mondavi was responsible for the modern rebirth of Napa after Prohibition and making Napa a benchmark region for wine globally. To be able to taste his first vintage fifty years later was incredible – history in a glass, and it was still alive!

What’s your favorite thing about Seattle?
We’re such a small town in many ways, with very distinctive neighborhoods. It’s always a treat to find the best things that a neighborhood has to offer.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I got into the restaurant business as a classically trained French cook. I can still make a mean soufflé.
