Seattle | Downtown

Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989. Our original location was a tiny place on Western Avenue, but in the year 2000 we made the move to the historic Mann building in downtown Seattle. You can find us on the corner of 3rd and Union, across the street from Benaroya Hall and only a few blocks from Seattle landmarks such as Pike Place Market and The Washington State Convention Center.

The incredible architecture and masonry of the space create an extraordinary backdrop for the modern, yet traditional feel of the restaurant. Intimate booths, private dining rooms, casual lounge seating and a signature satay bar create a variety of dining options for our guests.

Whether you’re looking for an ideal group dining spot or somewhere to enjoy a quick power lunch, grab a cocktail with friends after work, or celebrate a milestone, Wild Ginger is the perfect choice.

What’s your favorite memory involving food?
My grandma always had a pot of beans and hand tossed tortillas going. The table would be filled with condiments and family. She would lay out a feast for any visitor!

What’s your favorite thing about Seattle?
I can't name just one thing! This city surprises me constantly. The rain and verdant beauty are a backdrop for secret gardens, moody art and striking architecture. I think my blood might be made of coffee!

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I am a perpetrator of long, slow burn, elaborate pranks. Don't tell anyone.

PRIVATE DINING & EVENTS MANAGER

When did you start with the company?
2018

What’s the best part about your job?
Getting the chance to talk more with our customers one-on-one. I love hearing about their great experiences during events with us over the years.

What’s your favorite thing about Seattle?
The wealth of options surrounding us! You can take a walk through Pike Place market, see a show or go to a museum, enjoy a day of activities at city center with visiting guests, or you can even take a drive and enjoy a weekend camping trip or hike. The Pacific Northwest is such an incredible place.

What’s the best piece of advice given to you that you want to share with others?
Always put yourself in someone else’s shoes. I find this serves me well especially that with events, you never know what is bringing somebody in to Wild Ginger or The Triple Door. It is very important that we do our best to help our guests enjoy each moment of their experience while they are here with us.
